The Deciding Factor recently welcomed Bart Bishop to the team as a content marketing specialist.
Bishop joined The Deciding Factor in October 2018. His primary focus is to produce content for integrated marketing campaigns, while ensuring all communications adhere to company branding guidelines.
Bishop holds a strong background in writing and editing in many different settings. Prior to joining the TDF team, Bishop acquired vast experience as an English professor at both The University of South Carolina Upstate and Cincinnati State. He has writing experience working as a Staff Writer for the Spartanburg Herold, as well as an editor for both McWood Publishing and Gardner Business Media. Bishop also serves as a freelance writer for the CityBeat Newspaper in his free time.
Bishop graduated from The University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 2006, and continued his education at Xavier University, graduating with a Master of Arts in English Literature and Language in 2009.
Bishop serves his community by volunteering with Storybook Costume Characters representing Butler County, Ohio. He has played both Nate the Great and Corduroy the Bear at the Duke Energy Convention Center since 2013.
