Michael Abbott recently accepted an expanded role with The Deciding Factor team as a digital marketing specialist.
Abbott joined The Deciding Factor in August 2015 as a part-time brand journalist. He transitioned to a full-time role as digital marketing specialist in February 2016. Abbott assists in the development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities and in coordination with SEO goals.

Abbott contributes a wealth of marketing expertise from previous roles including marketing specialist and brand consultant and multiple internships. His marketing career has included work for companies such as Top Gun Sales Performance, gyro, Luxottica and Smooth Ambler Spirits.
Abbott has a bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, where he studied marketing and information systems and analytics. In his time at Miami, he served as a brand consultant for the Highwire Brand Studio, an experiential, agency-based course where he developed promotions for Taco Bell. Also, Abbott co-founded the Miami Advertising student organization to support students as they build advertising skills and experience and to develop networking opportunities for the group.
Abbott is from Greater Cincinnati and lives in Hamilton, Ohio.
